“Bump, Set, Vote” Bipartisan Volleyball tournament huge success

For the first time ever, the Franklin County Young Democrats and Cap City Young Republicans joined forces to make a difference in Central Ohio and demonstrate that young people, regardless of political affiliation, can come together for a noble cause.

At the first Annual “Bump, Set, Vote” Volleyball tournament, 13 teams from both organizations, with the help of 8 court sponsors, met at Woodland’s Backyard to raise $1222.10 for LifeCare Alliance Meals-on-Wheels. Three FCYD teams placed in the top four, with a Dem Team of “How I Set Your Mother” taking home the Championship.

A very special thank you to all of the candidates who sponsored teams, most especially our court sponsors: Mike Schadek for County Auditor, Priscilla Tyson for City Council, Gwen Callendar for Judge, and Mayor Michael Coleman.
