There is a lot happening with FCYD in the next few weeks!

First, our next general meeting will be Tuesday, March 12, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will take place at Ohio Democratic Party headquarters located at 340 E. Fulton Street downtown. Topics will include committee updates, new member recruitment efforts, and planning of our…

First fundraiser of 2013! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 24, 5:30 – 7:30 PM. The location is still TBD, but we are in the process of confirming it and should have it secured soon.

This fundraiser will also serve as our previously-mentioned membership drive — bring a friend to join FCYD and you’ll get two year-long memberships for the price of one! Otherwise, $20 at the door will get you drinks, appetizers, and cover your annual membership dues! I’d say that’s a pretty good deal!

On Friday, March 15^th ODP is hosting the annual Legacy Dinner. The dinner starts at 7:00pm and the guest speaker in San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro! You might remember him from the rousing speech he gave at the Democratic National Convention last year.  Here’s a link for a refresher. The next day, March 16^th the Ohio Young Democrats have a meeting that starts at 11am at ODP. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about other chapters and meet young democrats from all over the state.
